Hints for users of Internet Explorer

Why doesn’t the site display properly?

This site is designed using cascading style sheets (CSS) for layout. The layout should work fine in a modern browser that is compliant with web standards, but Internet Explorer on the PC has trouble with some aspects of it, particularly the positioning of some elements, and most of the photographs disappear.

There are two ways of resolving the problem. One is to turn off style sheets; this will enable you to view the basic text and photographs of the site.

A better solution is to switch to another browser, such as such as Safari (for Mac or Windows) or Firefox, which will generate the pages correctly.
